UPDATED Fantasy NBA Top 100 Rankings for 2012-2013 (Standard Head-to Head “Per Minute” Format)

The NBA Free Agency is virtually over.  There are only bits and pieces left to be scoured in the free agency board; pieces that are insignificant to the top 100 projections.  The Summer League is also over.  However, only the creme de la creme and/or the rookies that will have the greatest impact make it to the list.  Changes did happen.  Everybody seemed to be moving on up.  Why?  You’ll figure it out (if you have a keen eye for a fantasy guy).   As always, take note that this is based on a standard 7-cat (points, rebounds, assists, blocks, steals, TO, TF) 82-game head-to-head “per minute” format.

Changes to ‘the algorithm':

1)  Players with versatile positions, C/F’s and G/F’s, are given additional points.

2)  Efficiency (fantasy points per minute) is given considerable weight over Production (fantasy points) since this is a unique 82-game “per minute” format.

3) Recent player movements and signings were now factored in.

Fantasy NBA Top 100 Rankings for 2012-2013 (Head-to-Head Standard Format)

It is never too early for rankings like it is never too early to get a good estimate/ball park figure in business. This is my first stab at the Top 100 Rankings for the next fantasy season. Changes are bound to happen as per player movements in the association. However, based on experience, projections for the élite players change minimally. Thus, making this preliminary top 100 bear a significant amount of weight.
